CS:GO has been out since 2012 and thrives in-part thanks to its map design, with famous locales like Dust 2 recently being recreated in Fortnite. Anubis and Chlorine are being added into the Scrimmage and Casual game mode matchmaking pools at the tail-end of CS:GO’s Operation Shattered Web event.

According to the contest hosted by Mapcore, the top two maps received a monetary prize as well as getting a place in CS:GO. In third and fourth place were “Mutiny,” set in a pirate-themed ancient tropical village; and “Jingshen,” a traditional small village in the outskirts of Asia.
The 16th CS:GO Major championship, ESL One Rio, was set to begin on May 11th, 2020 before being delayed to November on account of coronavirus concerns.
